On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, at 7.30pm I am playing at the Birdland Theater with my Trio, this time featuring Elias Bailey on bass and Jay Sawyer on drums. While we will play a few selections from my CD Her Morning Waltz. Also, in the spirit of thanksgiving, I would like to show my appreciation both to some of the masters that have helped shape me and my music through their recordings, as well as to the musicians currently on the scene, that continue to gift me with their music, their support and their wisdom. The program will consist of songs that are meaningful to me in this context. I can’t tell you how happy I am to be back at the Birdland; and I really hope you can be there, too!
