Hyuna Park heads up her own eponymous jazz trio comprising herself, Evan Gregor on bass and Jay Sawyer on drums. One of few female Asian performers successfully established on the jazz scene touring across the globe – from her native Korea, to Europe to her current home in New York – Park delivers technically flawless and artistically inspired renditions of classic jazz standards as well as a vibrant mosaic of her original compositions.
Rigorously trained from two decades of classical piano, Park took the courageous step to break into the Occidental-male dominated world of jazz. She quickly amassed a variety of credits by recording sessions with major talents in Asia and composing for film and TV.
After winning music scholarships from Kyung Hee University in Korea as well as the City University of New York, Park has ventured on to performing with the great artists of contemporary jazz, winning awards, breaking new artistic territory, and inspiring fans with her emotion and style – across genres, across nations, and across generations.
Now based in New York City, Park is one of the more sought after jazz artists on the touring circuit exhilarating audiences with her traditional skills and creative, dynamic performances.

The award winning jazz pianist Hyuna Park’s musical universe is deeply connected to the vibrant New York jazz tradition while embracing her Korean and classical roots. She is a winner of the International Women in Jazz (IWJ) and Jimmy Heath Awards. She has graced the stage with Grammy award-winners such as Linda Oh, Luis Bonilla, Michael Mossman and Vincent Herring, at Birdland, the Dizzy Gillespie Auditorium, the United Nations, and Embassies and Cultural Centers throughout NYC. Hyuna's trio with bassist Myles Sloniker and drummer Peter Traunmueller has absorbed a variety of cross-cultural styles into their core jazz repertoire. Hyuna is a regular at many of the more prestigious jazz venues in New York City such as Smalls, Birdland, Joe’s Pub, Zinc bar, and The Django.

Bassist Martin Pizzarelli put together a special program of hand-picked tunes that pays tribute to his father, guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli. A member of New Jersey’s first jazz family, Martin’s own impressive career as a bass player spans several decades and includes dozens of record dates and hundreds of concerts around the globe in various formations, often accompanying his father. Among his peers, he is considered one of the most swinging bassists on the scene and a “keeper of the flame” who masters the style like no one else today.

For the fifth year in a row the Foundation will provide project assistance to the United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz in support of the 10th anniversary celebration for International Jazz Day/USA 2021.
In honor of the late Skipp Pearson the Foundation that bears his name continues to assist UNESCO with this signature project specifically designed to help bring peace to the world through the collaboration of "public arts education" partnerships that use Jazz music as a diplomatic tool.

A member of New Jersey's 'First Family of Cool', Martin Pizzarelli is considered one of the most swinging' bassists on the jazz scene today. The son of guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli, Martin's career spans multiple decades and includes dozens of record dates, television appearances, and hundreds of concerts throughout all corners of the globe.
Linus Wyrsch
GRAMMY Award®-winning clarinetist and tenor saxophonist Linus Wyrsch was born in Switzerland in 1987 and has been based in New York City since 2008. Having become one of the city's most sought-after instrumentalists, the Berklee College of Music alumnus frequently works with Lucy Kalantari & The Jazz Cats (GRAMMY Award® winner for Best Children's Album 2018), the legendary Pizzarelli family and many other well-known artists of the jazz and Latin jazz scenes. Linus tours in the United States, Europe, Asia and South America, and regularly appears in New York City's and the East Coast's finest venues. To date, he can be heard on more than 20 albums, including the 2016 duo concert release "Live at Villa Irniger" with Swiss pianist Claude Diallo. TV appearances include NBC's Universal Kids (PBS Kids Sprout), NBC's The 10 Show!, NY1 and ABC7 News. Linus also produces and hosts the popular podcast "The Jazz Hole" (on BTRtoday.com) since 2009. Being an actual part of the music scene enables him to provide listeners with a unique backstage pass, including high-caliber guests.

Hyuna formed a trio in 2018 with country/folk bassist Myles Sloniker and funk drummer Peter Traunmueller as a non-traditional band that infuses various styles and musical elements into their core jazz repertoire. Hyuna and her band are regulars at many of the more prestigious jazz venues in New York City such as Zinc bar, Iridium, Club Bonafide, The Metropolitan Room, and The Django.
Karl Latham
Karl's career has spanned the globe performing, recording with and producing with Grammy Award winning artists, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members and multitude of internationally acclaimed musicians. Karl is known for his exceptional ability to dig into a variety of musical styles. Karl is included in the Drummerworld Top Drummers list. In addition to leading his own group "Living Standards", Karl is co-leader of Big Fun(K) with saxophonist/composer Don Braden and co leader with Ryan Carniaux and Mark Egan of the "2016 BMW Welt Jazz Award" nominated group "Constellations". Karl was a member of the electric jazz jam group, Unit1, with Mark Egan and guitarist John Hart.
Karl is currently an adjunct percussion instructor at Drew University, County College of Morris and Passaic County Community College.

South Korean born Hyuna Park returns to the Pearson Virtual Theatre to offer an unforgettable evening of Jazz music celebrating the lives and work of women in Jazz.
This performance is presented as a fund raiser to help purchase instruments for musicians in need.
The Skipp Pearson Jazz Foundation is a not-for-profit (501) (c). (3). music education organization that has as its primary mission to foster a greater appreciation of Jazz music as it was developed in the twenty century. In addition, the Pearson Foundation is engaged in numerous community service projects that support and help sustain master Jazz players along the I-95 corridor. When COVID-19 arrived closing concert halls, music venues and theaters the Pearson Foundation adopted fifty (50) artists and began the often overwhelming task of helping each sustain their art form.
