The Piano Art of Hyuna Park

South Korean born Hyuna Park returns to the Pearson Virtual Theatre to offer an unforgettable evening of Jazz music celebrating the lives and work of women in Jazz.

This performance is presented as a fund raiser to help purchase instruments for musicians in need.

The Skipp Pearson Jazz Foundation is a not-for-profit (501) (c). (3). music education organization that has as its primary mission to foster a greater appreciation of Jazz music as it was developed in the twenty century. In addition, the Pearson Foundation is engaged in numerous community service projects that support and help sustain master Jazz players along the I-95 corridor. When COVID-19 arrived closing concert halls, music venues and theaters the Pearson Foundation adopted fifty (50) artists and began the often overwhelming task of helping each sustain their art form.

Amadis Dunkel & Hyuna Park Duo Concert

Attending audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy twenty-four artists , over seven days playing some of the best Holiday music around. The opening presentation begin with our own Shannon Pinkney on Keys with the amazing Jackie Lennon as featured vocalists.

This special series of performances will hopeful make it possible for the Skipp Pearson Jazz Foundation to help 25 senior Jazz musicians to become technically proficient so that they may be able to work, record and perform from the safety and security of their homes.

Contributions from this event will allow the Foundation to purchase equipment, materials and supplies to outfit the needs of each player.

Hyuna Park Trio at The Birdland

The upcoming concert will be the Trio's debut at the Birdland jazz club and showcase  parts of her recent album "Her Morning Waltz" as well as some new unreleased songs. 


As a Korean woman who has explored the international jazz scene, Hyuna's goal is to reinvigorate the jazz medium with modern musical influences - each member infuses traditional jazz with their own musical experiences including Korean rhythms, folk, classical, and funk elements.
